In 2020, I was excited to be given the opportunity to costume a production of "Aida" for the Thalian Association Community Theatre. Rehearsals had begun, we had shot a commercial, and I was busy finishing up costumes for a promotional photo shoot when I got the call that Covid-19 had shut the production down.
Needless to say, by the time quarantine began, I already had already gathered many of the fabrics I planned to use in the costume build.
This bright, joyful print has the perfect amount of stretch for a turban-style headband. This design features a twist rather than a full knot, to cut down on bulk and give you the option of wearing the twist in the front or in the back.
As always, a portion of the sales price from this item will be donated to the organization that originally hired me for this production, the Thalian Association Community Theatre.
